As part of a brief for University, I was required to design a vinyl sleeve/cover for a collection of songs. I based my music selection and designs off the song 'Warm' by n o r m a l, which emanated a personal feeling of comfort and peace. This design aims to communicate those feelings, inspired by the sweaters and layering of winter and explores the knitted, crocheted textures associated with this. The poem on the back sleeve was commissioned from a friend, describing the feeling of warmth when in love and surrounded by those one is close to. The design has then been incorporated into banners and patterns that continue these themes for external client use.
